Through prayer and study, we are led to a deeper spiritual union with our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray the Rosary with our friends in four different nursing homes and every Saturday morning at St. Mary Church after the 8:00 a.m. Mass. We ask all to join us on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Church for an hour of Reparation for sins committed against God and His church. Our meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month and consist of prayer, a formation lesson, a social time, and a short business meeting. The meetings are open to anyone interested in becoming a member of the Carmelite community. New formation classes are held in January and July.
As Associates of the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg, we desire to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For the common good, we wish to give of ourselves and our goods to the many communities in which we are involved. We seek to be especially mindful of and helpful to the poor, the oppressed, and destitute in our community. All that we possess is a git from God which we gratefully receive and freely share.
